Central Presbyterian Church

Greetings!

I'm John, and I began my time here at Central Presbyterian in August of 2017.

I’m originally from Omaha, NE and attended Creighton University, graduating in 2010 with the Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a Biblical Studies emphasis. After graduating I went directly on to Princeton Theological Seminary. During seminary I worked at the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton, NJ for three years, where I was mentored by a wonderful pastor. I graduated from Princeton in 2014 with the Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Education. Before coming to Central Presbyterian Church, I served a church in Jesup, IA.

I live here in Nevada with my wife, Sita, daughter, Lillian, son, Jack and dog, Humphrey.

I'm Marlys Brehm, office administrator for Central Presbyterian Church. I am a retired elementary reading teacher. I live on an acreage north of Nevada with my husband Joe. Together we have four children and eight grandchildren. I have been a member of Central Presbyterian Church for 52 years.
